March 2009: MADRIX 2.6 BETA
The MADRIX 2.6 BETA version is out now for testing. This version will be the future release candidate for the official MADRIX V2.6 release. Among the most important new features of this version are the possibility to rotate each layer, thumbnails for each storage place, a new SCE Bounce effect, an improved S2L EQ effect, previews working with Direct3D, and the support of the INSTA network protocol for controlling INSTA 2022 fixtures! Today we want to show you another short video of the new 511 band real-time equalizer effect and the new rotation mode arriving with MADRIX 2.6.
This MADRIX setup uses only 150 RGB pixels in X and 75 pixels in Y. We have invested a lot of time in finding solutions for performance optimization, new modes, e.g. the Sound2Light equalizer effect, and new options, regarding rotation for example.
With a more powerful system architecture MADRIX 2.6 will be faster than ever. We are going introduce the new MADRIX 2.6 at Prolight+Sound 2009 in hall 8.0/D72.
