Dynamic Patching while in Player mode

I often run with a 50 x 50 x 1 matrix, the effects are far more pleasant when spread over a large patch area.
However, sometimes my patch is not large enough to occupy the entire matrix.
I can goto the patch editor, and remap the patch with offsets to get my patch to show different areas of the matrix, but what would be much better would be if I could drag my patch around on the matrix as a display is playing.

Some of the effects are much more pronounced around the centre and some and more pronounced around the edge. Being able to grab my patch around the matrix - live - while a display is playing would be awesome - and I dont think this would be particularly difficult to achieve.

The whole idea of Madrix is to make hard stuff easy - and this would definitely tick that box.

Hello rwardley,
.
When I understand you right you want to change the position and size of the desired effect to different places of the patched fixtures?
You can already do this in MADRIX. Therefor you need to create the patch and after you have created the patch you can work with the mapping in MADRIX.
In the following links you can learn how you can change the size and position (map) of a desired effect:
http://help.madrix.com/m3/html/madrix/i ... ialog.html
http://help.madrix.com/tutorials/html/i ... space.html
.
Also you can use the map function to change the position and size of an effect which starts in the center to move it to a corner, for instance.
Furthermore you have to use the map function if you want to have different content on different fixtures.
