hello I am getting an error code cxvideodecoderdirectshow.:load()Error 0x80004005: Unspecified error when i try to open a mp4 video file.
the video plays fine in windows media player.
my os is windows 10

It seems that the used PC has not installed a codec pack for videos. To install a codec pack is important for MADRIX when you want to playback a video. You need to install the codec pack even if Windows Media Player can playback the video. At the moment MADRIX has no access to the codecs of the Windows Media Player.
We recommend to use the LAV Filter codec pack or K-Lite codec pack. Both are a collection of alot of video and audio codec packs and you can download it in the internet for free. Please install only one of them at your desired PC.

I assumed that because the pc would play mp4 there was a codec in there somewhere.
