MA2 Right Storage

Hi, I'm not sure if I did something wrong but I've tried the profile that's built in with the MA2 and the one here on the site. I can access the left storage but have no options to access the right storage. I click gobo and get all my left storage options there under clip but nothing for the right storage. Am I looking in the wrong place or do I need a different profile.

Thanks in advance.

Hi!
.
I think that is the way this fixture is built, which makes MADRIX behave more like a media server. But since the Left and Right are interchangeable in MADRIX 3 (you can select whichever Storage on whichever side), I would assume that you can switch through Storage Places as well as Storages with the profile, but yes, only on the left side.

So I would have to add the right storage channel numbers into the profile? Where would I find the channel numbers that would associate to those banks?

Thanks again.

Such a profile would surely correlate with the predefined remote control protocols we deliver with the software:
.
Simple
http://help.madrix.com/m3/html/madrix/h ... tocol.html
.
General
http://help.madrix.com/m3/html/madrix/h ... tocol.html
.
Advanced
http://help.madrix.com/m3/html/madrix/h ... tocol.html
.
But of course, you could build your individual profile in MADRIX and then build it in the ma2 as well and define the channel numbers yourself.

I see only the advanced profile has right storage written in. Thanks so much for the links. I'll re patch my board accordingly.

Hello dboykin,
.
You are right the predefined remote protocols "Simple" and "General" are working only on the left side in MADRIX.
But as Fritzsche wrote in his last post you can easiely create your own DMX Remote protocol.
Under the following link you can learn more about how you can work with the DMX-IN Remote Editor in MADRIX:
http://help.madrix.com/m3/html/madrix/i ... ditor.html
In the following link you will find the description how you can create a new MIDI map. But the workflow for DMX-In is equals when you start to read from step 4:
