Hi All,
I'waiting for your answer about Plexus purchase...
I tested Madrix 3.0
I would like to know how to do simple programming:
I have 4 led bars 18 RGBW leds each, horizontally arranged.
I want create 4 colors, each bar has one color, I can do it with gradient.
How to move these 4 colors? I want to slide this virtual 4 colors on X axis
There is no keyframeable move feature?

Also
I want to synchronize a soundtrack with the events. Do I need only a midi timecode? Is not possible to sync an audio track without an external midi sequencer?

Regards

There are several ways to achieve what you want:

1)
- Use the MADRIX Effect "SCE Color Scroll".
- Set up your 4 colors in the Color Table
- Adjust the "Color Width" slider to 25 (which is 25 %. That means that each of the 4 colors takes up 25% and every unit of your LED bars will have a different color this way.)
- Set up the "BPM" slider to 0 if the color scrolling should stop.
- Switch to a new Storage Place and back to the current Storage Place so that all colors start at the right position
- If you want to scroll the colors, set the BPM slider as desired

2) You can set up 4 Layers and map them to each of the LED bars. Each Layer can have a different MADRIX Effect if you wish.

3) Another possiblity could be to write a script depending on what you are trying to achieve exactly.

Regarding the audio syncronization:

MADRIX provides several possibilities to syncronize.

- MIDI Time Code
- Art-Net Time Code (there is even an extra tool provided called Time Code Sender)
- Cue List - You can use the automatic playlist feature to synchronize exactly to hours, minutes, seconds, or frames.

Does that help?
