Treat a group of pixels as a single pixel or rgb fixture?

Post by FX_lighting »

What would be the easiest way to create effects that group pixel bars as single pixels? Let's say I have a bunch of 64pixel bars, and I want to create effects where each bar is a single color, as if each bar were a simple rgb fixture? Does that make sense? :?:

Hello FX_lighting,

There are several options to create such kind lighting effects.
If the desired LED Bars should output only a static solid color, you can use the SCE Gradient, add the desired amount of colors, disable the fade between the colors and use the positon to move the different colors that the desired amount of pixels will display one and the same color.

If the color shoud be animated, you can use the SCE Color Scroll. With the help of the Parameters "Color Width" and "Step Width" you can adjust how many pixels should display the same colors and width a color should be moved. If the color infomation should jump to according to the set "Step Width" the "Step" button needs to be activated.
