Madrix Fixture

Post by HoraceKHering »

In Madrix 5, when in Patch Editor you can only set Fixtures to 90, 180 & 270 degrees.

Ive tried to look in Fixture Editor, to see if I can Edit the Fixture to 45 degree and apparently not.

I have 80 odd Martin Sceptrons which I need at said degree.

My only thought is to do make individual pixels with correct DMX Address.

Hello HoraceKHering,
Welcome to the MADRIX forum.

At the moment fixtures can be rotated by 90 degree steps in the MADRIX Patch Editor and Matrix Generator.

If you want to patch fixtures in 45 degree angle, it is possible to create a custom designed fixture where the used pixels are assigned diagonal. All non used pixels of the fixture can be empty/free.

Alternatively you can patch single pixel fixtures pixel by pixel in the Patch Editor.
But for a better overview a created fixture will be the better option.

How you can create and us custom fixtures in MADRIX you can learn under the following links:

I hope this will help you.
