Output is incorrect when converting .mp4 to .mrec
Hello, so I was attempting to convert a .MP4 (h.264) file to a .mrec for streamlined playback with the SCE Video effect. I had a number of video files supplied with 5 different patterns with one video file of each pattern sized for each fixture group in madrix. (Ex: the effect lights 04 was supplied to me in a 1:1, 1:8, 1:4, and 3:2 aspect ratio.) The 1:1 was supplied at resolution 1152x1152 for display on a 36x36 matrix.
Most of the videos in the supplied set were able to convert successfully to .mrec, but the lights 04 set of files look entirely different when displayed on the LED array. I can't figure out what is happening.
When I look at the mrec file in the record editing view it appears correct, but when I apply it onto the array it is incorrect.
It does not fill the LED fixture group it is applied to and instead appears to be banded.
I looked at the provided MP4 files and cannot find any sort of encoding differences between the MP4 files that converted correctly and the ones that did not, except perhaps a 4x higher bitrate on the one that appears incorrectly.
I feel it is strange that the mrec file appears ok in the record editing view as well, so it seems like there is some sort of breakdown specifically with how the SCE Video effect is rendering that video?
I have tried to attach files that demonstrate what is happening.
