Re: What formats of 3D moving objects best for 3D presentations?

Hi ChrisCotton,

You could create a sliced video as content (one slice for each z pane). Many video editing programs offer such an option.

Re: Online learning resources and Neo successor?

Hi r2.lighting, I understand that Madrid Neo has been discontinued. Is there a successor which offers XLR DMX outputs? - The successor product is called "MADRIX USB ONE": https://www.madrix.com/products/usbone - You can still use the MADRIX NEO with MADRIX 5. Additionally the following MAD...

Re: Questions regarding Patch / Existing installation

Hi r2.lighting, The MADRIX patch often differs from the physical arrangement, depending on the effects you want to achieve. For example a circular shape can be also patched using straight lines. I assume this has been done in the sent images. It is not always required to build the patch according as...

Hi mcastrigno,

The sampling rate is 2 ms for the MADRIX ORION.

I hope this helps you!

Re: What are the best settings to de-bounce a switch input?

Hi mcastrigno, Thank you for the detailed explanation. As my colleague wrote DMX512 and thus Art-Net or sACN won't allow that, as it is a constant stream of data unlike MIDI for example (with MIDI data is only sent if something changes). If you trigger something with the ORION the defined value will...

Hi Nathan,

I'm sorry, but the LCA007 fixtures are not supported.

Here you will find a list with all supported Philips Hue fixtures:

Re: What's more important: GPU or CPU?

Hi RockitFX, The effect rendering in MADRIX is done on the CPU, thus the performance of the GPU is less, but also important. That means you should give the priority to the CPU. Therefore yes, source a powerful multicore CPU. The GPU is used for the calculation of the internal and external previews a...

Re: What are the best settings to de-bounce a switch input?

Hi mcastrigno, If the signal goes below or above the set "Limits" (the lower limit is left, the upper right in the "Limits" column), the sent value changes to the set low or high value defined in the "DMX Channel Configuration" ("From Value" and "To Value...

Re: What are the best settings to de-bounce a switch input?

Hi mcastrigno, Welcome to the MADRIX forum! Once the circuit is closed a certain value will be sent by the MADRIX ORION, if it is open again a 0 (or the defined value) will be send. The "Limits" column defines the lower and upper treshold. Do you use MADRIX 5? If yes, please share your rem...
